Gunstock and King Pine are the nearest ski areas. Cranmore, Attitash and Waterville Valley are each within a day-trip drive, and the season usually runs into March. Snowmobile trails run through the region too.

The Lakes Region's own ski area, on the lake side of the Belknap range. Day and night skiing, with views of Winnipesaukee from the top.
